Today, Independence Day feels less like a ceremonial date on the calendar and more like a part of our everyday lives.
For many of us, the past few years have not been about grand words, but about simple and important things: standing strong, keeping our loved ones safe, supporting those around us, holding on to faith, and continuing to live.
It is precisely through these everyday choices that the strength of a country is built.
While some defend Ukraine with weapons in their hands, others work, teach, heal, grow food, help others, and hold their own front.
On this day, we want to wish for what matters most today: for everyone to stay alive, for loved ones to return home, for us all to have the strength to get through these difficult times and live to see brighter days.
May there be more peace, warmth, and hope in every home.
And may our Independence give us the opportunity to live, love, work, and build our future on our own land.
