In the most difficult times, it is important to know that you are not alone. In partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), LASKA FUND coordinated the provision of multipurpose assistance to residents of the communities in Mykolaiv region most affected by the war.
In the Snihurivka and Horokhivske communities, 950 agricultural input vouchers were distributed, and cash assistance was provided to the most vulnerable families.
This assistance enabled people to:
- purchase seeds, fertilisers, tools and other essential supplies;
- prepare for the planting season;
- cover urgent household expenses related to running their farms.
In 2024, nearly 5,300 households engaged in agricultural activities across Mykolaiv region received assistance through the partnership between LASKA FUND and FAO.
