Agricultural advisory services in Ukraine could enter a new era. The unified national platform for agricultural knowledge and innovation, AKIS (Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System), was launched in Ukraine in the spring, but further development of the system is still underway.
Members of LASKA FUND, which has 10 certified agricultural advisors on its team, took part in an online meeting dedicated to the opportunities and further development of the AKIS platform.
During the meeting, important issues related to modern agricultural advisory services were discussed, including the development of advisors’ professional competencies, the exchange of knowledge and experience, and strengthening cooperation among farmers, researchers, businesses, and other stakeholders in the agricultural sector.
Particular attention was paid to digital tools and the AKIS platform, which can become an effective resource for communication, sharing practical information, and supporting agricultural producers.
