We are attending the “A New Profession During Wartime” exhibition, which tells the stories of Ukrainian women who have transformed their lives and joined humanitarian demining efforts to help make their communities safer.
During the exhibition opening, DCA Secretary General Jonas Weisager Neddecker noted that Denmark has supported Ukraine since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
According to him, the exhibition will later be presented in the Kingdom of Denmark to once again highlight the complex challenges faced by the Ukrainian people.
The exhibition will help draw greater attention to Ukraine’s needs and support the continued provision of assistance, which remains critically important.
NCA Secretary General Anne Cecilie highlighted the importance of its partnership with DCA in implementing initiatives aimed at supporting people and communities affected by the war.
“Our task is to make the present more bearable and the future one that gives us hope,” said Anne Cecilie.
For LASKA FUND, participating in such events is an important opportunity to support public dialogue on the needs of affected communities, raise awareness of humanitarian initiatives, and draw attention to safety and recovery efforts.
We are grateful to Dan Church Aid and Norwegian Church Aid in Ukraine for their partnership and joint efforts to implement projects that help Ukrainian communities overcome the consequences of the war and create the conditions for sustainable development.
LASKA FUND implements the program in Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Odesa regions.
