LASKA FUND supports those who refuse to give up despite the challenges — families who live and work on the land. In partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and with the support of the Government of Norway, we organised financial assistance for residents of three communities in Mykolaiv region: Snihurivka, Horokhivske and Shevchenkivska.
A total of 1,750 households received USD 800 each to restore their agricultural activities or support their day-to-day well-being.
Thanks to this assistance, people were able to:
- purchase seeds, fertilisers and tools;
- continue cultivating their land and growing produce;
- maintain stability during challenging times.
In 2024, nearly 5,300 households engaged in agricultural activities across Mykolaiv region received assistance through the partnership between LASKA FUND and FAO.
