LASKA FUND participated in the workshop “Growing Agricultural Crops in Ukraine amid War and European Integration: From Challenges to Sustainable Development,” which brought together representatives of government institutions, international organizations, experts, and agricultural producers to discuss current challenges and pathways for the development of the agricultural sector.
Participants learned about the findings of the study, took part in thematic discussions, and worked together to identify practical solutions for supporting agriculture during the war and adapting to European standards.
Particular attention during the workshop was paid to land restoration following hostilities, demining and environmental safety, improving the quality of substantiation and developing laboratory control systems, addressing the consequences of drought and the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant, strengthening the economic resilience of agricultural producers, ensuring adequate human resources for the sector, and aligning Ukrainian legislation with the requirements of the European Union.
